About this work
A chromolithographic plate titled Carta Minera, centred on a map of Mexico with its coastlines, rivers, and mining locations marked by coloured symbols and a legend. A bar chart at lower left and surrounding framed views show mining towns, hillside settlements, and industrial works set among mountains. The print was made by Antonio García Cubas in 1885.
