About this work
This 1885 chromolithographic plate by Antonio García Cubas, titled Agricultural map, centers on a map of Mexico with a legend and surrounding borders. Vignettes around the map show haciendas, horseback herders, field laborers, irrigation scenes, aqueducts, and botanical studies of agave, cacti, palms, and flowering plants.
