About this work
A chromolithographic advertisement shows a blue barrel covered with clusters of large red strawberries, green unripe berries, leaves, and small white blossoms, with more plants growing from the top. The printed text below promotes the strawberry as the only variety that grows successfully out of a barrel. The print is attributed to Rochester Lithographing & Print Co. and dated 1889.
