About this work
A chromolithographic teaching picture from the series Wandbilder für den Anschauungs- und Sprachunterricht, showing a harvest scene with oxen pulling a loaded hay cart while a man guides them and a woman with a load of hay walks nearby. A large pitchfork stands in the foreground beside a haystack, and an inset shows a fork resting on a plate. The work is attributed to W. Crüwell and dated 1888.
