About this work
A chromolithographic print showing a girl in a striped dress and white pinafore holding a slate and books, holding hands with a boy in a dark sailor-style suit and cap who points upward. Behind them stand a Gothic church with twin spires, a steep-roofed stone building, and brick townhouses with gabled facades. The work is titled Ida and Martin, attributed to W. Crüwell, and dated 1888.
