About this work

A chromolithograph titled Kittens by Otto Speckter shows four kittens playing in a rustic interior. One kitten lies on a draped blue cloth beside an open book, eyeglasses, and knitting needles tangled in yarn, while another bats at the yarn and a third drinks from an inscribed plate near a broom. An open doorway reveals a wooden bench and tree outside.
