About this work
A colourful lithographed street scene shows a tree-lined avenue with riders on horseback, a cyclist with a wicker basket, a tram marked Markt, and a horse-drawn carriage. Well-dressed pedestrians stroll beneath red parasols while a seated man with a crutch holds out a hat near the roadside. The print is credited to Lith. J. Beerta and dated 1904.
