About this work
A lithographed print titled Thunderstorm, produced by Lith. J. Beerta in 1904, shows a grey Dutch-style house with green shutters and a red tile roof under a stormy sky with lightning and heavy rain. A man with a cane and a wooden display case walks toward the door past a flowering shrub, while two children look out of a window. The date 1846 appears on the gable of the house, and a green bench and dog kennel stand in the garden.
