About this work
A colour print titled Ordination by Josef Reich, dated 1911, shows a mitred bishop with a crosier laying hands on a row of kneeling candidates in white albs before an altar with a crucifix and lit candles. Attendant clergy in dark cloaks and white surplices assist, one holding an open book, within an ornate church interior with a decorated arch.
