About this work
A colored cutaway illustration shows a city street sliced open to reveal tram tracks, cobblestone paving, and the layered network of pipes, cables, and a brick sewer tunnel beneath. Building facades, a gas lamp, and interior rooms with plumbing fixtures frame the scene on either side.
