About this work
A large colour print shows a passenger steamship raised in a floating dock, with its hull and propeller shaft exposed and machinery visible through a cutaway section. A small tugboat with a smoking funnel moves along the harbor beside the dock, and a row of numbered labels runs along the lower margin. The work is titled Schiff im Dock, is attributed to Josef Klemm, and is dated 1910.
