About this work
A decorative lithographic poster from 1898 by Strobridge & Co. Lith. shows an infantry officer and a sergeant in khaki field uniforms inside an oval frame beneath a carved eagle over a shield. To the right, several American flags and regimental colors with lettered and emblem designs fly from staffs, and the composition is bordered by red, white, and blue bands with green foliage and red ribbons.
