About this work
An etching depicting a group of men in caps gathered around a black and white spotted cow on a village street, with rural houses and trees behind them. The fine hatched lines render strong shadows across the ground and figures. Titled Koeienmarkt (20th century) and attributed to Willem de Zwart, this print is held in the museum's collection.
