This woodblock print shows several sailing boats with white and yellow sails crossing calm blue water toward a shoreline of trees and small buildings. A pale orange sky and faint distant mountains frame the scene, and Japanese calligraphy appears in the upper area. The work is catalogued as Returning Fishing Boats at Yabase by Utagawa Hiroshige, dated 1857.
