About this work
A woodblock-style print shows a large red torii gate standing in choppy blue water while snow falls diagonally across the scene. Three figures in straw rain capes and hats row a wooden boat toward the gate, and a covered pier and pine-covered shore appear in the background. The work is attributed to Takahashi Hiroaki and is titled Izukushima.
