About this work
A black and white lithograph shows a crowned, bearded man in a fur-trimmed robe seated beside a large beer barrel and a horned goat standing on its hind legs. The man raises a foaming mug while drawing beer from a tap, and a second mug of foam rests on the floor. Made by Henry Jerome Schile in 1880, the print is catalogued as a print from the Portland collection.
