About this work
Four men in late nineteenth-century dress raise glasses of beer in a lively toast on an open grassy setting beside a small wooden table. One man in a brown coat laughs with his head tilted back, while another in a dark jacket holds a ball beneath his arm. This chromolithograph, titled Quartet, was created by Henry Jerome Schile in 1892.
