About this work

A chromolithographic print shows a crowned, bearded king in a red robe trimmed with fur, seated on a golden chariot pulled by two goats through the clouds. A barrel labeled BOCK BEER sits beside him, and a young attendant raises a frothy mug while two musicians play horns alongside. The print was published by Henry Jerome Schile in 1881.
