About this work
A chromolithographic print shows two steam locomotives with red cowcatchers and brass fittings meeting at a junction beside a large brick station building. Crowds gather on the platform as passenger coaches and red freight cars, some lettered with route names, stretch across the tracks under billowing smoke.
