About this work
A lithograph showing two racing yachts under full white sails cutting through choppy grey-brown water beneath a pale, cloudy sky. The vessels are depicted in close competition, with smaller sailing craft visible near the horizon. The print is credited to Armstrong & Co. Lith. and dated 1886, with the title referring to the 1885 America's Cup race.
