About this work
A two-panel hand-colored lithograph from a Dutch children's picture series. The upper scene shows children gathering flowers beneath a tree in a grassy meadow, while the lower scene shows a woman tending a white calf as two girls offer it food beside a hen and chicks. Printed text in Dutch verses appears beneath each image.
