About this work
A hanging scroll in ink and light color showing a group of seated men in loose robes gathered together, several with shaved or bald heads and one holding a fan. Columns of calligraphy and a red seal appear at the upper left, and the title "A Poetic Gathering" is attributed to Matsumura Goshun, dated late 1700s to early 1800s.
