About this work
A loose graphite sketch on cream paper shows heavy rain falling in diagonal, vertical streaks across a broad landscape, with billowing cumulus clouds at upper left and a low shoreline at the bottom. The handwritten annotation "Sunlight" and the number 2 appear in the lower right, with a further inscription beneath. This drawing, titled Deluge over Mt.
