About this work
A pen and ink study on cream paper shows two hands, one reaching outward with spread fingers and the other placed lower with fingers together, each emerging from a shirt cuff. A loose dark ink mark sits between them, and faint pencil lines suggest the initial layout. The drawing is titled Zonder titel Schets van een reikende hand, by Leo Gestel, dated 1935.
