About this work
A pencil sketch shows a large beetle crawling across the lower part of the composition, surrounded by blossoming plants and bellflowers. A radiating sun and two butterflies fill the upper area, and a decorative scroll with lettering frames the base. The work is a design study titled [Projekt ekslibrisu] by Stanisław Ostoja-Chrostowski, dated 1937.
