About this work
A pencil and coloured crayon drawing on brown paper shows two elongated, reclining figures rendered in pale blue and red. On the left a woman with flowing red hair lies stretched out, while on the right a grotesque, skull-like figure with a gaping mouth and red highlights reclines beside her. The drawing is inscribed in Polish with the title and the date 1928, attributed to Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz.
