About this work
A hand-coloured engraved print shows a woman in a red headscarf, white blouse, blue bodice and brown sleeves, seated beside two wooden tubs holding fish and an eel. Hanging fish appear on a rack at right, and a centaur archer is drawn in the sky above. A verse caption in Italian and Latin appears beneath the image, and the print is attributed to Alessandro Temini within the 1600-1699 date range.
