About this work
This multi-panel caricature print by Will Crawford, dated 1908, shows several comic fortune tellers and self-proclaimed seers, including an astrologer, a palm reader, a crystal gazer, a tea-leaf reader and a card player. The panels are drawn in bold ink lines with flat colour, and the captions carry the satirical humour of the scenes.
