About this work
A woman in a red blouse and plaid apron stands at a kitchen counter holding a box of Saran Wrap beside a blue bowl of food. Wrapped meats, sandwiches, a watermelon slice and a wicker picnic basket fill the scene, with the slogan 'that soft, velvety feel tells you it's Saran Wrap' printed on a blue band below. This 1953 print was produced by the Dow Chemical Company.
