About this work
A lithograph titled Le Paradis et la Peri by Henri Fantin-Latour, dated 1884, shows a winged female figure with arms outstretched and pointing upward above a seated, curly-haired figure resting on a rock. Soft, dense crayon-like tonal shading renders a dim landscape beneath a luminous sky. The signature appears in the lower right corner of the sheet.
