About this work
This costume design sheet for the opera Il Figlio del Mare shows two women in medieval-style dresses, one in a blue tunic patterned with fleurs-de-lis and one in a red gown with a white-edged cloak. The printed text names the opera, its authors L. Orsini and A. Beltramelli, and the composer Giuseppe Cicognani, and the sheet is labelled Patrizie e dame (coro) with the stage design credited to Pipein Gamba.
