About this work
A colored costume design for the character Lutz, act III, from the production Eidelberga mia! by Alberto Colantuoni, based on Alt Heidelberg by W. Meyer Foerster and set to music by U. Pacchierotti. The standing male figure wears a dark blue double-breasted tailcoat, cream trousers, white gloves and holds a top hat, set against a red line-drawn landscape panel on a grey ground. The work is signed Gamba and dated 1907, with a figurino number and lettering in the upper right.
