About this work
A costume design for the character Dalena from the first act of Il Figlio del Mare, shown as a standing woman in a long blue gown with a patterned red and gold embroidered bodice and sleeve bands. The printed title block lists the opera as scene liriche in three acts by L. Orsini and A. Beltramelli with music by Giuseppe Cicognani, and the lower right credits the stage setting to Pipein Gamba.
