About this work
A colour woodblock print showing the raked gravel garden of Ryoanji beneath a tiled temple roof and wooden veranda, with rounded rock groups set on moss islands. Bands of ochre, olive and rust tones decorate the wall beneath the eaves. Attributed to Kamei Tôbei, dated 1925.
