About this work

A colored architectural elevation shows the principal facade of a proposed theater with Gothic-style arches, balconies, pointed towers, and a diamond-patterned upper wall. Bilingual Russian and French captions identify the design as a project for Tiflis that was never executed, and the plate is numbered XX. The print is attributed to Grigory Grigorievich Gagarin.
