About this work
This hand-coloured architectural print shows the long nave of the church of Saint Dmitrii in Thessalonike, with rows of columns supporting round arches and a timber roof above. A semicircular apse with arched windows closes the view at the far end, and a single seated figure appears near the right colonnade.
