About this work
A richly illustrated pictorial map of central London, drawn with a dense network of yellow roads, blue waterways and green parks, with small white buildings and whimsical vignettes. A decorative border with heraldic shields and playful slogans frames the scene. The work is attributed to MacDonald Gill and dated 1927.
