About this work

A colored scientific plate shows five crustaceans arranged on a pale background, including a large spiny lobster in the center with long antennae, a flattened slipper-type lobster on each side, a small freshwater crayfish at upper left, and a slender shrimp at upper right. The numbered figures and fine shading suggest a natural history reference illustration.
