About this work
A chromolithographic lesson picture shows a uniformed chauffeur seated at the controls of an early motor car with brass lamps and red-spoked wheels on a winding country road. A horse-drawn carriage and a stone church with a tall spire appear in the background, and the printed verses and hand-play instructions below the image are part of the lesson sheet. The print is attributed to W. & A.K.
