About this work
A two-panel Danish traffic instruction poster titled Danske Færdselstavler nr.1, printed by N. C. Roms Forlagsforretning and signed by Rasmus Christiansen, dated 1922. The left panel shows a carriage driver with a whip on a rural road passing a line of wagons, with cows grazing in fields and telegraph poles along the route. The right panel shows a carriage passing a thatched cottage where children and a dog scatter from the road, with a caption warning against playing on the roadway.
