About this work
Two canoes move across the water, each carrying two figures dressed in early twentieth-century clothing. The bright yellow canoe on the left holds a woman in a pink blouse and a man in a teal shirt, while the reddish-brown canoe on the right carries a man in white and a figure in red. The print is titled Canoeing, attributed to George Markendorff, and dated 1910.
