About this work

A hand-coloured geological map of the Münster region, sheet 12 of Richard Lepsius's series, shows rock formations in layered colours with a legend of geological systems along the right edge. Towns, rivers, and provincial borders such as Overijssel, Gelderland, and Westphalia are labelled across the sheet.
