About this work
A woodcut-style print in a decorative architectural frame shows a bearded man in profile wearing a laurel wreath and a studded collar, encircled by a ring of Latin lettering naming Henricus and Augustus. A Latin verse caption and the page heading identify the figure as Henry VI, Emperor of the Germans, and the print is attributed to Jacopo Strada and dated 1559.
