About this work
An engraved print of Henry IV, shown in profile within a circular medallion inscribed with his name and regnal numerals, wearing a laurel wreath and armor. The ornate architectural border and the Latin text below frame the portrait in a sixteenth-century book page. The print is attributed to Jacopo Strada and dated 1559.
