About this work
A woodcut-style print shows a male profile bust in a laurel wreath set within a circular medallion with the inscription LOTHARIUS IMPERATOR around its edge. Ornate architectural and grotesque decorations frame the medallion, and a Latin text panel appears below. The print is attributed to Jacopo Strada and dated 1559.
