About this work
A four-color print in a plain grey mat shows a corner view of a European-style street lined with tall, narrow buildings and chimneys under a heavy grey sky. The ground floor holds a cafe, a shop with a yellow Leroux sign and flowers in its window, and a shop labeled Marcou, with two figures walking near the entrance. This print by Louis Arthur Holman is dated 1926.
