About this work

A woodblock print titled Tamahime Shrine, produced by Negoro Raizan in 1922. Two small children stand near a tall wooden fence while another child throws a ball, and red and white banners line the entrance beside a shrine with a crossed-beam roof. Evergreen trees and a bare ginkgo tree frame the scene under a pale blue sky.
