About this work
A pencil drawing shows mice scurrying across a stone block labeled "GOV. CHEESE" while elephant figures, some marked "GOP," sit atop and climb around the structure. The composition uses crowded, overlapping animal figures on a stage-like setting, and the drawing is signed by William Henry Walker and dated 1918.
