About this work

A pen and crayon political cartoon shows the Republican elephant striding forward with a crowd of top-hatted and bowler-hatted men riding on its back, while a figure is trampled beneath its legs. A sign reading Republican Convention points toward the left, and a small group of marchers carrying a Voter banner appears at lower right. The drawing is signed William Henry Walker and dated 1920.
