About this work
A pen-and-ink caricature shows a mustached man in evening dress gesturing over heaps of coins, bonds, and stock certificates, with a sign reading 'MINE' beside the pile. To the right, several men in period costume raise their arms as paper securities scatter through the air toward them. The work is titled The Prestidigateurs, signed by William Henry Walker, and dated 1911.
